With the theme "Reminisce," the students became storytellers, weaving together fragments of the past—forgotten playground laughter, the thrill of winning a school prize, the innocent fights over a lost pencil, and the pure joy of handwritten letters before the digital age took over.
The stage transformed into a canvas of emotions, painted with lively dance performances, heartfelt monologues, and beautifully enacted skits. Each scene was a mirror reflecting the journey from childhood innocence to the realities of adulthood. The audience watched as friendships evolved from sharing lunchboxes to sharing responsibilities, as the carefree days of scraped knees turned into the demanding world of deadlines and forgotten passions.
Laughter and nostalgia filled the air as the students cleverly highlighted how life, once centered around summers filled with endless games and stolen mangoes, had now become a race against time, often losing touch with what truly matters. But amidst the rush of life, the performance left a powerful reminder: dreams, friendships, and joy should never be left behind.
Dr Clany D’Souza, in her inspiring address, applauded the young performers for their exceptional talent and creativity. She emphasized the importance of cherishing childhood memories and maintaining a balance between responsibilities and happiness in adulthood. She also encouraged parents to nurture their children's dreams and to always find time to relive the simple joys of life.
Sr Shaila, the esteemed correspondent of St Theresa’s School, expressed her joy and appreciation for the students, teachers, and parents who contributed to the success of the event. She spoke about the significance of parental involvement in a child’s journey and how moments like these strengthen the bond between parents and children. She reminded everyone that childhood is a foundation for the future and should be cherished with love and care.
The event concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks, expressing gratitude to the chief guest, the management, teachers, parents, and students for making the celebration a memorable one. Special appreciation was given to the organizing committee for their dedication and hard work in bringing the event to life. Finally, the gathering stood in unity as the national anthem was sung, bringing the joyous celebration to a dignified and patriotic close.
