Neighbours Call in Cops to Stop Farhan Akhtar's Bday Bash

Mumbai, Jan 10: What started out to be a highly star-studded event on Sunday January 8 night, later was brought to an abrupt stop as cops busted film maker Farhan Akhtar's birthday bash.

Farhan threw a lavish party on his birthday to also celebrate the success of his flicks 'Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara' and 'Don 2'. But since the party went on late into the night, neighbours complained to the police about the loud music and at 3.30 am, the party was brought to a very abrupt stop.

Sources say that the party’s highlight was its music. But around early morning, at 3.30 am, cops came in and asked to turn off the music as loud music is not allowed beyond 1 am. The Bandra police authorities also confirmed the reports.

Buzz is that actor Priyanka Chopra, who had reportedly backed out of a police welfare event a day before the party, was seen having a ball of a time at the party. Another very obvious fact was that the entire cast of Farhan’s film, Talaash (Aamir Khan-Kareena Kapoor-Rani Mukerji starrer) was absent from the party.
