Fish deaths reported in Payaswini river near Sullia

Sullia, Feb 10: Dead fish have been spotted in the Payaswini river near Sullia, though the exact cause of their death remains unknown.

The fish carcasses were found downstream of the vented dam near Nagapatna, where a small amount of water is being released.

It is suspected that rising temperatures may have led to the fish deaths.
