Mangaluru, Feb 10: The Hindi department, in association with the Hindi Sangh 'Prathibha', successfully organized a Hindi quiz competition on February 10 at St Agnes College. The event witnessed enthusiastic participation from students across all streams, with a total of 29 teams, each consisting of two members, vying for the top spot.
The quiz, designed to test participants' knowledge of Hindi language, literature, and culture, comprised multiple rounds, including oral rounds and audio-visual challenges.

Dr R Nagesh, dean of arts and Thanmayee Bhatt, secretary of Hindi Sangh hosted the competition, with Dr Shailaja H G acting as the quiz master. Crystal from III BCA and Heeba from II BA bagged the 1st place, Anisha and Mokshita from II BSc landed on 2nd and Hafifa and Salha from III BA scored the 3rd place.
The Hindi department and Hindi Sangh 'Prathibha' extended their congratulations to all the participating teams and appreciated their enthusiasm. The success of the quiz underscores the growing interest in Hindi language and literature among the student community.
