Karkala, Feb 12: The first look poster of ‘Pilipanja’, a unique Tulu film presented by YS B Group, produced by Shiyan Production House, and directed by Bharat Shetty, was officially released on January 27. The unveiling took place at the historic Belman Shri Durgaparameshwari Temple, renowned for its thousands of years of history, by temple administrator Vedamurthy B K Vighnesh Bhat, who blessed the film on the occasion.

The event was graced by the presence of the temple priest Sridhar Bhat, Sandeep V Poojary, coordinator of Shri Durgaparameshwari Friends Club (R), along with the film’s producer Prateek U Poojary Kavoor, director Bharat Shetty, executive producer and actor Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, production manager Karthik Shetty, and editor Srinath Pawar, among others.

The filming of Pilipanja has been completed in two phases, with only the song sequences remaining. The team plans to wrap up the remaining shoot in the first week of February and is preparing for the film’s release soon.

The movie features a talented cast, including Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, Bhojaraj Vamanjoor, Sundar Rai Mandara, Ravi Ramakunja, Shivaprakash Poonja, Prateek U Poojary, Praveen Kodakkal, Ranjan Boluru, Rakshan Maduru, Prakash Shetty Dharmanagar, Vijayahari Rai, Dayanand Bettampady, Roopashree Varkadi, Jayashila, Radhika, Bhaskar Manipal, and leading actress Disharani.

The film is produced by Prateek U Poojary, with story and direction by Bharat Shetty. The executive producer is Ramesh Rai Kukkuvalli, cinematography is handled by Uday Ballal, music is composed by Loy Valentine Saldanha, and editing is done by Srinath Pawar. The script and dialogues are penned by Suresh Balmatta, and promotions are managed by Jagannath Shetty Bala. The movie also features action choreography by Suresh Shetty and Naveen Lobo, dance direction by Rajesh Kannur, and production management by Karthik Shetty.
