Udupi, Feb 15: Louis Lobo from Udupi was elected as the new president, and James D'Souza from Kapu was chosen as the vice president of the Udupi Catholic Credit Cooperative Society. On Thursday, February 13, the Udupi Catholic Credit Cooperative Society Limited held elections for its next five-year term at the society’s administrative office located in the Udupi Christ Jyothi Complex.
The election was overseen by Jayanti F from the Udupi District Cooperative Societies office, who served as the election officer. Sandeep A Fernandes, the chief executive officer of the society, facilitated the election process.

In addition to the president and vice president, the newly elected members of the board include Ignatius Monis, Moodubelle; Percy J D'Souza, Kallianpur; Archibald S D'Souza, Thottam; Dr Nery Cornelio, Kakkunje-Ambagilu; Lysette z Cornelio, Kannarpady-Kadekar; Richard D’Sa, Santekatte; Robert Maxin D'Souza, Udupi; Dancy Victor Louis, Udupi; William B Machado, Shirva; O'Neil Johnson D'Souza, Kodavooru; and Genevieve Marina Menezes, Kalmady.
The election for the new governing body was held on February 2, and all 13 positions were filled unopposed.
Founded nearly 28 years ago with a vision for savings, development, and sharing, the cooperative society operates from its administrative office in Udupi, K M Road. It has branches in Udupi, Malpe, Udyavara, Shirva, and Hoode-Kemmannu, continuing its path of development.
