Kasargod: Sacred Heart of Jesus Church celebrates Confraternity Sunday with fervour

Kasargod, Feb 17: The Sacred Heart of Jesus Church in Ukkinadka celebrated Confraternity Sunday on February 16 with great enthusiasm and devotion. The main celebrant, Fr John Prakash Pereira, a Pallottine priest and rector of the Minor Seminary at Miyar, led the festivities.

A solemn Eucharistic procession, accompanied by a brass band, marked the beginning of the celebration. Hundreds of faithful gathered, holding flags representing the various wards and commissions of the parish. Fr Sunil Miranda, the parish priest, actively participated in the celebration along with the parishioners.

The Confraternity Sunday celebration served as a day of spiritual renewal for the faithful, providing an opportunity for the community to come together, reaffirm their faith, and strengthen their bond with the Lord. The event was a resounding success, marked by a sense of unity, devotion, and spiritual rejuvenation.
