Daijiworld lensman Dayananda Kukkaje wins national photography award at 'Double Pixel Salon 2025'

Mangaluru, Feb 17: Renowned photojournalist Dayananda Kumar Kukkaje has been honoured with the national award at the "Double Pixel National Salon 2025" photography competition.

His photograph titled "Helpless Hand" in the Photojournalism category earned him the prestigious PMP Silver Award. Additionally, his photograph titled "Bright Future" in the Open Monochrome category received high praise from the judges.

Dayananda Kukkaje, a celebrated senior photographer from Mangaluru, has been recognised with numerous national and international awards throughout his career.

He has been serving as a photojournalist with Daijiworld Media for the past 23 years.
