Mangaluru: St Aloysius students organise event on health & nutrition at Govt First Grade College

Mangaluru, Feb 22: The students of the department of Journalism and Mass Communication, St Aloysius (Deemed to be University) organized an engaging event focused on health and nutrition on February 22. The event took place at Dr P Dayananda Pai Sathisha Pai Government First Grade College Mangaluru.

The head of the department of zoology, Dr Vasanthi gave her valuable insights on the session

Following this, resource persons Nayana Kumari and Shivakumar spoke on various topics related to healthy living. They highlighted essential aspects of nutrition, including the significance of vitamins and nutrients in daily life, proper hydration, and the importance of good sleep. The event was attended by 90 students of BCom department.

Trenitha, a second-year MA journalism and mass communication student compered the event. Tapasvi Vachhani, welcomed the gathering.

Neha delivered the vote of thanks. This initiative not only educated young students about health and nutrition but also fostered a sense of community engagement within the college.
