Goa to get mobile clinics by 2026, South Goa hospital upgrade by year-end: Vishwajit Rane

Panaji, Feb 22: Goa Health Minister Vishwajit Rane has announced plans to introduce mobile clinics across the state by December 2026. He has already discussed the initiative with Union Health Minister J P Nadda.

Rane also stated that the South Goa District Hospital will be fully upgraded with all essential facilities by the end of this year. Additionally, the government plans to increase seats for nursing courses to strengthen the healthcare workforce.

The minister emphasized that these measures are aimed at improving healthcare accessibility and ensuring better medical services for Goans.
