Adani Group to Invest Rs 1.1 lac cr in MP, create over 1 lac jobs

Bhopal, Feb 24: Billionaire Gautam Adani announced a Rs 1.1 lac cr investment in Madhya Pradesh, promising to generate over 1.2 lac jobs by 2030.

Speaking at the Madhya Pradesh Global Investors Summit, Adani revealed plans to invest across pumped storage, cement, mining, smart meters, and thermal energy sectors. Discussions are also underway for a greenfield smart city, an airport project, and a coal gasification project, which could bring additional investments.

“These are not just investments but milestones in a shared journey, making Madhya Pradesh a national leader in industrial and economic growth,” Adani stated, expressing confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Chief Minister Mohan Yadav’s leadership.

The Adani Group has already invested Rs 50,000 cr in the state across energy, infrastructure, and logistics, creating 25,000 jobs. Adani reiterated that the group's expansion in Madhya Pradesh is "far from over."

Praising PM Modi, Adani said his visionary leadership has transformed India into a global trendsetter. "Never before has India's confidence been higher, commanding greater respect on the world stage," he remarked.

Adani also lauded CM Mohan Yadav for enhancing the ease of doing business, making Madhya Pradesh one of India’s most investment-ready states.
