Mumbai, Feb 25: The Maharashtra government on Tuesday announced a significant bureaucratic reshuffle, transferring seven senior IAS officers ahead of the upcoming Budget session of the State Legislature, set to begin on March 3.
Rajendra Nimbalkar, a 2007-batch IAS officer, currently serving as Managing Director (MD) of Maharashtra Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (MSSIDC), has been appointed as MD of Chhatrapati Shahu Maharaj Research Training and Human Development Institute (SARTHI), Pune.
Mumbai District Collector Sanjay Yadav, a 2009-batch officer, has been assigned the role of State Project Director, Samagra Shiksha Abhiyan, Mumbai.

Rajendra Bharud, a 2013-batch officer, who was serving as Commissioner of the Tribal Research and Training Institute (TRTI), Pune, has been transferred as Project Director, Rashtriya Uchchatar Shiksha Abhiyan, Higher and Technical Education Department, Mumbai.
Deepak Kumar Meena, also from the 2013 batch, has been moved from his position as Additional Tribal Commissioner, Thane, to take over as Joint Commissioner, State Tax, Mumbai.
Sameer Kurtkoti, another 2013-batch officer, has been appointed as Commissioner of TRTI, Pune.
Mahesh Awhad, a 2015-batch officer, currently serving as Managing Director of Haffkine Bio-Pharma Corporation, will now take charge as Chief Executive Officer of the Maharashtra Medical Goods Procurement Authority, Mumbai.
Keerthi Kiran Pujar, a 2018-batch officer, who was previously Chief Executive Officer, Zilla Parishad, Ratnagiri, has been posted as Collector, Dharashiv.
The reshuffle comes at a crucial time as the state prepares for the Budget session, with key administrative positions being realigned to ensure efficient governance and policy implementation.
