Mangalore, Jan 14: Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust colleges held their annual sports meet for the year 2012 at Dr M V Shetty Institute of Technology, Thodar, Moodbidri on Saturday January 14.
The sports meet was inaugurated by the chief guest of the occasion, international athlete and film actor Rohith Kumar Kateel. Dr M R Shetty founder, secretary of the Trust presided over the function.
Trustee Prof Heema Urmila Shetty, principal of M V S I T Dr Sandeep J Nayak, Principals of all the Dr M V Shetty Memorial Trust colleges were present on the occasion.
Dr Earnest Jacob Principal of Physiotherapy welcomed the Guests. Manohar the pysical director proposed the vote of thanks.
As many as 1500 students of eight colleges participated in the sports events.
