‘Navadurga Charitham’ book released at Kaup Shri Hosa Marigudi Temple consecration event

Kaup, Feb 28: The book ‘Navadurga Charitham’, authored by Nataraj Parkala, was released during the consecration ceremony of the Kaup Shri Hosa Marigudi Temple on February 26. The book was officially launched by MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty.

In his presidential address, Rathnakar Shetty, president of the Kaup Shri Hosa Marigudi Temple Management Committee, praised the hard work of the development committee and the cooperation of devotees, which made the grand construction of the temple possible.
He also shared that the committee had decided to keep the temple open seven days a week, offering devotees the opportunity to receive Mariamma’s blessings daily.

Dharmapala Devadiga, president of the Vishwa Devadiga Mahamandala, spoke about the power of Mariyamma displayed through the newly renovated temple. “With the blessings of Mariamma, all devotees have participated in this great event,” he said, acknowledging the spiritual significance of the occasion.

Santhosh Shetty Kurkilabettu, president of the Pune Bunt’s Association, focused on the importance of giving back to society. “The blessings we receive from Mariamma must be dedicated to the service of society,” he remarked, wishing blessings on all the devotees present.

Yogish V Shetty, working president of the Consecration Committee, gave the introductory note and warmly welcomed the gathering, while Reshma Uday Shetty delivered the vote of thanks. The event was compered by Damodara Sharma Barkoor and Ashok Pakkala.

The ceremony was attended by several dignitaries, including Jaya Kotian of the Dakshina Kannada Mogaveera Mahajana Association, MLA Gurme Suresh Shetty, Gokul Das, president of the Dharmadarshi Shri Kshetra Kachoor Management Committee, Advocate Nagarjun Kaup, Upendra Shetty from Bengaluru, Chandrahas Shetty from Bantwal, and Yuvaraj Salian from Maskath.
