No Negotiations with Taliban: Rehman Malik

Islamabad, Jan 15 (IANS): Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik Saturday dismissed reports that negotiations were taking place between the government and the Taliban.

Speaking to the media in Islamabad, Malik condemned Saturday's suicide bombing at a police office in Dera Ismail Khan city of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in which nine people, including two policemen, were killed.

The minister said the militants have again targetted security forces, Dawn News reported.

"We will not negotiate with these militants until they agree to disarm themselves," he said.
