Bangkok: Thai Kannada Balaga Spreads Fragrance of Karnataka Culture

Bangkok, Jan 15: The annual international cultural programme of Thai Kannada Balaga - Bangkok, Thailand was held at ITF Palace Bangkok on Saturday January14. The celebration also marked Makara Sankranti.

Thai Kannada Balaga president Vincent Daniel Pinto welcomed the artistes and the guest from Karnataka.

The event was inaugurated by president of the Kannada development board Mukya Mantri Chandru. Manjunath Sagar and Elias Santis were the chief guests.

The India Comics books were released on the occasion and writers and publisher Rajendra Kumar Shivananda were present.

The dance programmes were organized by the artistes of RadhaKrishna Acadamy of Fine Arts.

The colourful costumed traditional dances were arranged by the Hrudayavahini team from Mangalore with co-ordination of various artistes from all over Karnataka.

Go-Na-Swamy of Udaya TV Bangalore compered the programme.

    The event was colorful showcasing our culture & tradition. Samudra Manthana & the Ganesh prathistapane during Ganesh Chathutyi are the excellent ones..!! Three Cheers to the team and keep it up..!!
