Mangaluru: Srinivas University hosts national-level techno-cultural & sports fest 'Tech Yuva - 2025'

Mangaluru, Mar 11: Srinivas University Institute of Engineering & Technology, organised a two-day national-level techno-cultural & sports fest, Tech Yuva - 2025, at the Srinivas University Mukka campus. The event was held under the blessings and guidance of the honourable chancellor of Srinivas University, Dr CA A Raghavendra Rao, and the honourable pro-chancellor, Dr A Srinivas Rao.

The fest was inaugurated by the chief guest, Er Avinash Rao, founder & CEO of iSpAgro Robotics Pvt Ltd, Bengaluru, and founder & CEO of Agrileaf Exports Pvt Ltd, Mangaluru.

Addressing the gathering, he emphasised the importance of teamwork and communication in professional growth. He encouraged students to interact with those around them, learn from their experiences, and draw inspiration from their stories. “Teamwork is essential for success, and a good leader is nothing without a team. Effective communication is crucial in business as it helps in convincing people and acquiring new opportunities,” he added.

Dr Sathyanarayana Reddy, vice-chancellor of Srinivas University, presided over the programme and highlighted the significance of creativity in engineering. “Engineering without creativity is like a body without a soul. This fest is a fusion of technical brilliance and athletic excellence, providing a platform to showcase talent through various competitions and celebrations,” he remarked.

The event was graced by the presence of Dr Praveen B M director, research, Srinivas University, Prof Pavana Krishnamurthy, dean, Institute of Allied Health Sciences, and Dr Juby Mary Chacko, dean, Institute of Nursing Sciences, The student convenors of Tech Yuva - 2025, Mohammed Saifaaz, Chaitra and Akash Kulal, played a key role in organizing the event.

Dr Ramakrishna Hegde, dean of SUIET, welcomed the gathering, while Prof Shrinath Rao K, convenor of Tech Yuva, introduced the chief guest.

The vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Shwetha Pai, head of training and placement, Srinivas University. The event was compered by Sam Avin. Prajna performed invocation.

The fest featured a diverse range of competitions and activities, blending technical, cultural, and sports events, creating an engaging and enriching experience for participants from across the country. 52 various competitions held on these two fest days.
