Beltangady: SKDRDP Conducts Training Programme for Water, Sanitation Animators

Beltangady, Jan 16: Under the aegis of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala Rural Development Project (SKDRDP), a training programme for water and sanitation animators under Wat – San Project was held at Bhoruka -SKDRDP, Centre for Rural Excellence, Siri Building, Laila, recently.

SKDRDP community development division director Jayashankar Sharma inaugurated the programme here on Sunday morning.

Speaking on the occasion, Jayashankar Sharma said that the Wat–San Project is aimed at providing potable drinking water and toilet facilities and is underway in Chikmagalur, Dharwad, Gadag, and Gaveri districts.

Seventeen animators participated in the three-day training programme. Centre for Rural Excellence principal Harish Rao, community development division officer Ganesh Bhat, and lecturer Chandrashekar were also present.

Wat–San Project chief co-ordinator Abhay compered the programme.
