Mumbai (RBI), Mar 12: The Tulu Nadu Aisiri Premier League 2025 cricket tournament, organized by the Tulu Nadu Aisiri Charitable Trust (covering Vapi, Daman, Valsad, Silvassa, and Umargam), was held last Sunday at the KK Bhandary Sports Ground in Vapi, Gujarat. The event was presided over by Tulu Nadu Aisiri president Balakrishna S Shetty, while Silvassa mayor Rajani Govind Shetty inaugurated the tournament by lighting the ceremonial lamp and cutting the ribbon.

A total of eight local teams from Baroda, Surat, Silvassa, and Daman participated in the tournament. SKC Daman clinched the championship title, followed by KFC Surat as the runner-up and Shashi Hunters in third place. Individual awards were presented to:

Man of the Series: Avinash Shetty (SKC Daman)
Best Batsman: Rishi Mathur (KFC Surat)
Best Bowler: Nitin Pavan (SKC Daman)
Man of the Match: Vijay Nayak (SKC Daman)
Best Fielder: Chetan (Surat)
Best Wicketkeeper: Chetan Gowda (SKC Daman)
Anil Shetty and Sukesh Shetty from Hotel Honey Garden sponsored the prizes. The dignitaries honored the winners with mementos, cash prizes, and trophies, while all team captains received commemorative gifts.

The tournament was conducted with the support of Tulu Nadu Aisiri vice president Naveen Shetty, honorary general secretary Uday B Shetty, treasurer Ganesh Shetty, committee members Pushparaj Shetty Puttur, Anil Shetty, Kiran Anchan, youth wing president Rajeev Shetty, Ashwin Shetty, Kauthub Shetty, Nagaraj Anchan, Nitin Pawar, Karunakar Shetty, Venkatesh Poojary Silvassa, Shiv, and others.

The event began with a prayer by Tara Shetty and Poornima Shetty. The tournament was coordinated by sports organizer Sukesh Shetty (Honey Garden) and Chetan Gowda, who also hosted the event.
