International Women’s Day 2025: Empowering nurses to ‘Accelerate Action’ at Mangala institutions

Mangaluru, Mar 13: The department of OBG and community health Nursing along with NSS unit of New Mangala College and School of nursing observed International Women’s Day on March 12 on the theme Accelerate Action.

Sachitha Nandagopal, founder of Anveshanam, member of the juvenile justice board, DK Government of Karnataka, Inaugurated the programme. The ceremony was graced by the esteemed presence of Prof Pratijna Suhasini G R, dean, Mangala Group of educational institutions, Prof Subrahmanya Nayak, principal New Mangala college of nursing and Mangala School of nursing, Dr Bharath K H, principal, Mangala College of physiotherapy.

Sachitha Nandagopal delivered a session on ‘Accelerate Action- Nurses Role’. Afternoon different activities and fun filled games were organised for all women staffs of Mangala Group of Educational Institutions.
