Bhatkal: Fire Breaks Out at Fatimis Shahbandari Furniture Warehouse

Bhatkal, Jan 16: Around 3 lac plywoods were destroyed in a fire that broke out in early morning at Fatimis Shahbandari furniture warehouse here at Nawayath Colony near Shamsuddin Road.

The reason for the mishap was said to be short circuit. Three labourers - Qasim, Sonu, and Shannu were sleeping on the first floor of the building escaped the fire.

According to Fatimi there were almost 3 lac plywoods burnt in the accident, which destroyed the room totally.

Fire Brigade rushed to the spot and doused the fire. A case has been registered at Bhatkal police station.
