Beltangady: Dr Heggade Applauds Successful Control of Animal Sacrifice

Beltangady, Jan 16: Dr D Veerendra Heggade, Dharmadikari of Sri Kshetra Dharmasthala, congratulated the district administration and government officials on successfully curbing animal sacrifices at the annual ‘Jatra’ celebrations at Yadagiri in Mylapore on Saturday January 14.

Addressing media persons, Dr Heggade said that animal sacrifice is a heinous act which should not be encouraged in the guise of tradition.  He called on people not to be apprehensive in curbing this social evil.

Dr Heggade urged the people of Yadagiri in Mylapore to continue the humanitarian deed.
