New Delhi, Mar 16: Indian politicians have strongly rebuked Pakistan for its unfounded claims linking India to the Jaffar Express train attack, accusing Islamabad of shifting blame without evidence while grappling with its own terrorism crisis.

On Friday, Pakistan’s military and Balochistan’s provincial leadership echoed accusations made earlier by the Shehbaz Sharif-led government, alleging Indian involvement in terrorism within the troubled province. However, no concrete proof—such as intercepted communications or captured operatives—was provided to support these claims.

Slamming Pakistan’s repeated attempts to deflect responsibility, Congress MP Tariq Anwar stated that Islamabad is now facing the very menace it once nurtured against India. “Pakistan always makes baseless allegations. Every time an incident occurs, they claim RAW is behind it. But the reality is, what goes around comes around,” Anwar told mediapersons.

Congress leader Udit Raj also criticized Pakistan for fostering terrorism and engaging in anti-India activities, which, he argued, have now backfired. “India has no role in this. You reap what you sow. The ISI itself trains terrorists, and now they are turning against Pakistan. Afghan fighters, terrorist groups, and ISI-backed outfits are all clashing, leading to bloodshed on their own soil,” Raj remarked.

He further pointed out the ongoing violence in Balochistan, where frequent bomb blasts and internal conflicts among terror groups have destabilized the region. “ISI has long supported groups like Lashkar-e-Taiba for attacks on India. But now, the same forces are tearing Pakistan apart,” he added.

The strong rebuttal from Indian politicians comes as Pakistan continues its attempts to externalize its internal instability, particularly in Balochistan, despite a long-standing history of harboring and supporting terrorist organizations.
