Kaup, Mar 17: Karnataka additional director general of police Arun Chakravarthy IPS, along with his daughter, visited the Kapu Sri Mariamma Temple and received the blessings of Sri Mariamma and Uchangi Devi on March 17.
During the visit, Uday Sundar Shetty, chief coordinator of the temple's renovation committee and president of the Brahmakalashotsava committee, briefed him on the ongoing renovation process.
Yogesh V Shetty Balaji, head of the publicity and Brahmakalashotsava committees, along with management committee members Ravindra Mallar, Charit Devadiga, police officers, and other dignitaries, were present.
