Moodbidri: Carmel School celebrates young achievers in grand honoring ceremony

Moodbidri, Mar 20: Carmel School Moodbidri proudly celebrated the remarkable achievements of its talented students in a grand honouring ceremony. The event compered by Risha of grade X, was graced by the esteemed guest Rajesh D’Souza, HOD and English lecturer at Alva’s PU College, a passionate emcee and a renowned writer also a social worker and founder member of Trust HOPE which has completed 16 projects which includes building shelter for the poor and society building work.

The event began with a warm welcome speech by Chandan and Siena Pinto of grade IX setting the tone for an inspiring evening. Pearl Aranha (Grade 5B) was recognized for her outstanding performance emerging as the Winner of ‘Naach Nara Naach Nari Pro’ dance competition organized by Daijiworld TV 24x7. Her exceptional talent was acknowledged by Sr Ranitha.

Archith of grade 4th student a budding author was celebrated for publishing his first book The Little Bird’s Chirp a collection of 15 moral stories that instill values like courage, perseverance and self-belief. His accomplishment was introduced by Tr Shreevidya.

Dignitaries on the dais, along with the proud parents, honored the young achievers with certificates and trophies.

Adding to the celebration Thania S of grade IV was applauded for securing the runner-up position in the Star Kid category at the prestigious Mr & Miss Karavali 2025 Fashion Show held at Samaja Mandira Open Hall, Moodbidri.

The spotlight also shone on Cleon Tauro and Rahul Jenson Pinto (grade 7), who demonstrated exceptional knowledge and quick thinking, securing the Runner-up position in a high-level quiz competition.

Additionally Nevisha of grade 7A was acknowledged for her stellar performance in the Naach Nara Naach Nari Pro dance competition, reaching the final rounds.

In his inspiring address Rajesh D’Souza encouraged students to step out of their comfort zones and embrace new challenges. Principal Sr Maria Gracilda motivated the students to recognize and nurture their talents with determination and passion.

The ceremony concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by Vendict of grade X, marking a memorable celebration of talent, hard work, and perseverance.

Carmel School continues to take pride in fostering young achievers and inspiring them to reach greater heights.
