Meerut, Mar 21: In a spine-chilling case that has sent shockwaves across Meerut, police have uncovered horrifying details surrounding the murder of former Merchant Navy officer Saurabh, allegedly orchestrated by his wife Muskan and her lover Sahil. The probe has revealed a disturbing sequence of events involving black magic, financial fraud, and Bollywood aspirations gone wrong.

According to police, after brutally murdering Saurabh and dismembering his body, Sahil allegedly took the severed head and hands to his room, where he performed occult rituals. Authorities discovered eerie sketches, dragon symbols, and a cat in his room, along with beer bottles scattered around. Sahil, a drug addict, was reportedly obsessed with the supernatural and rarely interacted with others.

Investigators have also found that Muskan manipulated Sahil into committing the crime by creating fake Snapchat accounts, posing as his deceased mother, and urging him to kill Saurabh. The duo later concealed the remains in a cement drum.

Saurabh, who had been working in a London mall, had returned to Meerut in February. His brother Bablu alleged that Muskan had long harbored Bollywood dreams and frequently ran away from home, which led to tensions in their marriage. A divorce case was filed in 2021, but was later withdrawn under family pressure.

Bablu further claimed that Muskan used Saurabh’s money to purchase property and an iPhone and that financial motives played a key role in the crime. Investigators are scrutinizing Rs 6 lac transferred to Muskan and her mother’s accounts.

Police are also probing discrepancies in Saurabh’s employment records and have formed two teams to investigate all possible angles. Senior officer Ayush Vikram stated that the primary motives appear to be Muskan’s affair and financial greed. A chargesheet is expected to be filed soon.
Stay tuned for further updates.
