Mumbai, Mar 22: Television stars Ankit Gupta and Priyanka Chahar Choudhary have long been rumored to be dating, but fresh speculation about their split emerged after they unfollowed each other on Instagram. Adding fuel to the fire, Ankit recently revealed that he backed out of Terre Ho Jaayein Hum, a project that was supposed to reunite him with Priyanka.

Speaking to Bollywood Bubble, Ankit shared that he decided to step away from Ravi Dubey and Sargun Mehta’s show, stating, “I don’t think I would be able to commit to that project right now. Maybe I need some time for myself to rejuvenate and recharge.” He also mentioned that he wouldn’t be participating in Khatron Ke Khiladi this year, choosing to take a break from work.

Fans of Ankit and Priyanka, who loved their chemistry in Udaariyaan and eagerly awaited their reunion, were left disappointed. While the duo always maintained that they were just friends, their camaraderie on Bigg Boss 16 and joint appearances in music videos had kept fans hopeful. Despite the social media buzz, neither has officially confirmed their breakup, and they continue to keep their past pictures together online.
