Beltangady: Four-month-old baby abandoned by roadside in Belalu, rescued by public

Beltangady, Mar 22: In a heart-wrenching incident, a four-month-old baby girl was found abandoned by the roadside near Kodolukere-Mundrottu Road in Belalu village.

The infant was discovered by locals on the morning of Saturday March 22.

Acting swiftly, they rescued and cared for the baby before handing her over to Dharmasthala police and health department officials.

Authorities have taken custody of the child and have launched an investigation to trace those responsible for the abandonment.
