Dimensions celebrate lady entrepreneurs at Unstoppable Women 2025

Mumbai, Mar 22: Dimensions, a movement of Christian Entrepreneurs registered as a not for profit Section 8 Company’s proud to announce ‘Unstoppable Women 2025', a special event celebrated the achievements of women entrepreneurs, on Saturday, March 22, at Hotel Kohinoor Continental, Andheri East.

'Unstoppable Women 2025' was a day of inspiration, networking, and recognition. Dr Astrid Lobo Gajiwala, head, Tissue Bank at Tata Memorial Hospital, main speaker spoke on My Story…My journey topic.

There was a panel discussion that was engaged in a thought-provoking discussion with successful women leaders, on Topic "Resilience Rewritten, Women who turn setbacks into comebacks". The panel moderator Metilda Stanley, panelist Dr Asha Almeida, June Dias, Brinelle Lobo, Rosalynn Pereira & Dr Maria Baretto took part in the discussion.

The achievements of exceptional women entrepreneurs were honoured with a series of prestigious awards. The Rising Star Award was presented to Schnella D’Souza and Dr Millenia Fernandes (MBBS), while the Social Impact Award was given to Dr Jennifer Lobo Dias and Sr Kripa Isaac. The Digital Innovation Award went to Louella D’Souza and Shimona D’Souza, and the Breakthrough Business of the Year Award was awarded to Loretta Rego Safi and Elizabeth Kuruvilla. The Global Entrepreneur of the Year Award was conferred upon Metilda Stanley and Karon Shaiva.

In addition, consulting tables provided valuable insights from industry experts, allowing entrepreneurs to engage in interactive discussions. Networking opportunities enabled driven women entrepreneurs to connect and build meaningful relationships.

The event also saw the launch of the Unstoppable Women coffee table book, featuring inspiring stories of women entrepreneurs.

The programme serves as a cooperative platform for obtaining valuable insights and suggestions from entrepreneurs through interactive discussions. It also provides opportunities for networking with other empowered women entrepreneurs, fostering meaningful relationships.

Such programmes are essential for business networking and offer guidance, allowing participants to learn from successful women entrepreneurs who have achieved their goals. Currently, the board of directors at Dimensions includes Sylvester Rodrigues (Chairman), alongside directors Vivek Mendonza, Hillary Lobo, Steven Fernandez, Loretta Silvera, Nilesh Menezes, Arun Vaz, and Secretary Melwin Fernandes Omjoor. Vincent D'Silva, Emeritus Chairman, is also actively involved in the organisation's activities.

Sylvester Rodrigues, chairman of Dimensions, highlighted that the organisation, founded by Freddy Mendonsa, is now recognised as a premier networking platform for entrepreneurs. With a team of some of the most respected and successful business owners and professionals, Dimensions has become a leading network for entrepreneurs.

The event was attended by members from Dimensions Vilaparle, Central, Bandra, and Navi Mumbai, along with numerous businessmen. Fr Ceasar Faroz SJ led the opening prayer, while Fr Mario Mendies extended his greetings.

The programme commenced with the national anthem and the Dimensional pledge. Tributes were paid to deceased members.

Sylvester Rodrigues welcomed the gathering, and Vincent D'Silva delivered the keynote address. Dr Sounie Mendonsa and Roshni D’Souza introduced the guests and hosted the event, while Loretta Silvera delivered the vote of thanks.
