Mumbai, Mar 22: Maharashtra governor C P Radhakrishnan inaugurated a cricket exhibition match between members of parliament and film stars at MCA stadium in Mumbai. The exhibition match was organised at the initiative of member of parliament Anurag Thakur with a view to creating awareness about tuberculosis.
Congratulating MP Anurag Thakur for organising the cricket match to create awareness about TB, the Governor expressed the confidence that India will win the war against TB just the same way it won the war against polio.














The team of Parliamentarians titled 'Neta XI' was led by former minister and MP Anurag Thakur while the team of film stars, 'Abhineta XI' was led by actor Suniel Shetty.
Former union minister Rajiv Pratap Rudy, members of parliament Shrikant Shinde, Mohammed Azharuddin, Yusuf Pathan, Manoj Tiwari Chandrashekhar Dinesh Shakya Gurmeet Singh, Kamlesh Paswan, K Sudhakar, Nishikant Dubey, Lavu Krishna played for Neta XI.
Film stars Anupam Kher, Sohail Khan, Jackie Shroff and Sharad Kelkar played for the team Abhineta XI. Film stars Sonu Sood, Tushar Kapoor and Arjun Rampal were present.
