Mangaluru: Investor awareness programme held at Government First Grade College, Car Street

Mangaluru, Mar 24: Investor awareness programme was held in the college for students of Dr P Dayananda Pai - P Satisha Pai Government First Grade College on March 24. It was the initiative of IQAC of Dr P Dayananda Pai - P Satisha Pai Government First Grade College in collaboration with Commerce Association.

A prelude to IAP was given by Louis Manoj, convenor of commerce association and he also introduced the resource person.

The day had one session: Back to basics by Leo Amal A, senior branch manager, Franklin Templeton Asset Management (India) Private Ltd Mangaluru.

Leo Amal impressed upon the idea of SIP, "why we need to start investing early and what would be the cost of delay in investment." Overall, it was a resourceful day with a few questions being raised by the students.

In all 180 PG students of commerce, political science & social work batches and few teachers benefited out of this resourceful programme. Teachers from different PG departments were also present for the programme.
