Udupi, Mar 25: Garuda gang member Isaac, who was shot while attempting to evade the police, has been remanded to nine days of police custody by a court in Udupi.
Manipal police produced Isaac before the Udupi court on Monday, which ordered his custody until April 1 for further investigation.

Isaac was arrested on March 12 in Hassan after he attempted to escape from the Bengaluru Nelamangala police in Manipal, colliding with public vehicles during his getaway. While being brought back, he allegedly attacked the police near Hiriyadka station limits and tried to flee.
In response, the police shot him in the leg, following which he was admitted to a hospital in Manipal for treatment. Later, he was shifted to the Ajjarkadu district hospital for surgery.
Now recovering, Isaac was presented before the court, where the police sought his custody for further investigation. The court granted the request, remanding him in custody until April 1.
Manipal police are expected to interrogate Isaac regarding cases related to kidnapping, narcotics, and other crimes.
