New Delhi, Mar 25: National Award-winning actress Manju Warrier is set to reprise her role as Priyadarshini Ramdas in the much-anticipated film “L2: Empuraan”, the sequel to Lucifer. Speaking about her approach to the film, Manju shared that she doesn’t feel pressured, as she completely trusts the director’s vision.

Addressing the expectations surrounding the sequel, Manju acknowledged that the success of a film, audience love, and getting a strong role is a rare combination for an actor. She considers herself fortunate to be part of such a franchise and feels immense pride in returning for the next installment.

Regarding the pressure of living up to the success of Lucifer, she stated, “I am a complete director’s actor. I just do what the director wants me to do and leave all the pressure to them. I didn’t feel any pressure during Lucifer, and it’s the same this time as well.”

She expressed full confidence in the team’s vision, adding, “From what I’ve seen and heard, the way it has been executed and what you’re going to witness on screen will meet and probably exceed expectations. I am just very hopeful and grateful.”

“L2: Empuraan” is an action thriller directed by Prithviraj Sukumaran and serves as the second installment in a planned trilogy. The film stars Mohanlal in the lead role, alongside a stellar ensemble cast featuring Prithviraj Sukumaran, Manju Warrier, Tovino Thomas, Indrajith Sukumaran, Abhimanyu Singh, Eriq Ebouaney, Jerome Flynn, Saikumar, Baiju Santhosh, and Suraj Venjaramoodu.

The film is slated for release on March 27.
