Widespread Facebook and Instagram outage leaves users frustrated

New Delhi, Mar 25: A significant social media disruption on Tuesday left hundreds of users struggling to access key features on Meta’s platforms, Facebook and Instagram.

According to Downdetector, an independent outage monitoring service, reports of issues began surfacing around 9 AM ET. Users across the United States encountered problems such as disappearing comments on stories and posts. Some were able to see comments initially, only for them to vanish upon clicking. Others reported being completely unable to log in to Facebook.

The cause of the outage remains unclear, and there is no official timeline for the restoration of full functionality.

The disruption has affected users nationwide, from the East Coast to the West Coast, with widespread complaints about technical glitches.

As of now, Meta has not released an official statement regarding the issue, leaving many users frustrated and awaiting updates.
