Fujairah, Jan 17: The gynec and pediatric department of GMC hospital, Fujairah  in association with Abbot Nutrition and KairaliSamskarikavedi, Fujairah organized a free pediatric and gynec camp at GMC Hospital recently. 

The auspicious event was inaugurated by Dr. Sathyanarayanan , Medical Director of GMC Hospital, Fujairah. 

A total of 170 patients comprising of pediatric, gynec and expectant mothers were attended to in a span of five hours.  Discounts of 50% on laboratory investigations, 50% on CT scan, 30% on X-Rays and 30% on Ultrasound were offered to the visitors.   More than 20 cases of referral to the laboratory within a week and 30 cases of doctor’s appointments within  one week  was registered in the limited hours of the health camp.

Medicines, vitamin and nutritional products offered by medical companies were distributed at free of cost to the visiting patients.

This human endeavour of GMC Hospital, Fujairah was well received and appreciated both by the patients and the management of  Abbot Nutrition and KairaliSamskarikavedi, Fujairah .
