Mangaluru, Mar 30: The highly anticipated Shark Tank Agnes Contest was successfully conducted on March 29 at the Audio-Visual Room of St Agnes College.

The event was organized by Kushi Shetty and her team, with Dr Devi Prabha Alva, staff coordinator, and Carol Rodrigues, Ed Forum secretary, playing key roles in its execution.

The event brought together six innovative teams, each presenting their unique business ideas to a panel of esteemed judges, comprising Dr Devi Prabha Alva and Dhanusha Shetty, an alumnae of the college. The teams showcased their entrepreneurial spirit, creativity, and passion, making it a challenging task for the judges to select the winners.

The participating teams were:

1. Samuel D'Souza and Srinithish
2. Archana K Bhat and S Navyashree
3. Paosei Kipgen and T Liankhosiam
4. Zeena Veigas and Frencita Rodrigues
5. Shefali Gonsalves
6. Raksha KR Fernandes and Candice

After a fierce competition, the judges declared the winners. The first-place award was bagged by Archana K Bhat and S Navyashree, who impressed the judges with their innovative idea and convincing presentation. The second-place award was secured by Samuel D'Souza and Srinithish, who demonstrated exceptional entrepreneurial skills and creativity.

The Shark Tank Agnes contest was a resounding success, providing a platform for young entrepreneurs to showcase their talents and innovative ideas. The event was a testament to the ingenuity and creativity of the participating teams aimed at seeing their ideas transform into successful businesses.

The contest began with a melodious prayer song by Sannidhi. Kushi Kottary welcomed and Kushi Shetty proposed the vote of thanks.
