Mangaluru, Mar 31: Muslims celebrate Eid-ul-Fitr with great joy and devotion at the Ullal Central Mosque after a month of fasting, emphasizing peace and harmony as the festival’s core message, said Karnataka Assembly Speaker UT Khader.

Speaking to the media after offering prayers and visiting the Ullal Dargah for Ziyarat, Khader highlighted that Eid is a festival of unity and goodwill.

Dargah president Hanif Haji also addressed the gathering, stating that Eid-ul-Fitr marks the end of a month-long obligatory fast in Islam. He emphasized that festivals across all religions share the common goal of fostering peace and harmony.

The special Eid prayers and Khutbah recitation at the Ullal Central Juma Masjid were led by Khateeb Hafiz Suhail Noorani Pernal.

Dargah president Hanif Haji, vice president Ashraf Rightway, general secretary Shihabuddin Sakhafi, secretary Mustafa Madanigar, treasurer Nazim Mukacheri, and other committee members were present.
