Flyover is the ideal solution for highway starting from Doopadakatte till Dharmavara / Uppinakote based on Scientific plan & approval. Highway flyover can be built with middle highrise single column technic (two lane each) utilizing both sides for Service road at the ground floor (two lanes each) with proper crossover signals as required. Pedestrian bridge is not ideal for senior citizens & mother with small baby. Later stage it will be un-utilized, waste of public tax money, instead high-rise flyover is suitable for vehicles.

Hard to believe.A young life is gone due to carelessness of a car driver.May his soul rest in peace.Heartfelt sympathies to his family. They must put a signal near the school ,when children want to cross the road they should press the button and wait till red light for car,and green signal to cross. Here we dont know who had the right .Whether boy was crossing when car had right to pass? One must always be slower where school is .Children are children .One must be careful.car driver should answer to this accident .So sad.

Brahmavar needs a flyover covering Barkur junction and the Main bus stand. It seems that NHAI had initially planned this, but were forced to abort their plans due to pressure from local ministers. Now, after many people have lost their lives locals are realizing that the NHAI's initial designs should have been implemented. This has happened in many places including Santhekatte, Ambagilu, Ambalpady, Katapdi and so on. NHAI authorities should strictly forbid people from placing illegal barricades on highways and cancel all unscientific U turns. Barricades actually give a false sense of security to pedestrians and cause accidents due to confusion.

Wat is the local elected representatives doing since last 15 years? If they are not doing any work, then why did the public vote for same person?

It’s unfortunate that accidents keep happening at this junction. Given the presence of SMS Church and Institute, a hospital, a service road connecting both sides of Brahmavar, and a well-known business building, a walkover bridge is an immediate necessity. Only locals truly understand the risks of this junction, whereas travelers unfamiliar with the area may not anticipate the danger, especially with no speed breaker in place until reaching the junction. A pedestrian bridge would be a practical and urgent solution to prevent further accidents.

Flyover is the only solution. And don't allow commercial activity to develop on either side of highways.
