Sullia, Apr 1: A car lost control and crashed onto the terrace of a house, causing damage to both the vehicle and the house.

The incident took place on the morning of Sunday, March 30.

Cooperative sector leader Nityananda Mundody’s daughter-in-law was driving the car towards Guthigar when the accident occurred.

After exiting a house in Chirekal and reaching the main road, she attempted to apply the brakes. However, a water bottle got stuck under the brake pedal, preventing it from functioning. As a result, the car lost control and fell onto the terrace of a house belonging to Seetamma Chirekallu, located below the road level.

While the car and the house sustained damage, the driver miraculously escaped unhurt. Following the incident, a crane was used to lift the car off the terrace.
