Mangaluru: Roopashree Shenoy awarded PhD from MAHE

Mangaluru, Apr 1: Roopashree Shenoy of Mangaluru has been awarded a PhD in Medical Education by Manipal Academy of Higher Education (MAHE), for her thesis titled “Implementing and Evaluating Task Based Learning (TBL) in Physiology MBBS Curriculum.” Her research was guided by Dr Animesh Jain, professor in the Department of Community Medicine, Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Mangaluru.

Roopashree Shenoy is the daughter of Gopalakrishna Mallya and Nalini Mallya.

She is an alumnus of St Mary’s English School, Udupi, and a graduate of Mahatma Gandhi Memorial (MGM) College. She completed her Masters in Medical Physiology from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal in 2014. She is married to Gurudatta Shenoy, managing partner and co-founder at Mukund MGM Realty and Vertex Workspace, Mangaluru. 

She is a former lecturer in Medical Physiology and presently the founder of Paper Rocket books at Vertex Lounge, near Gandhi Park, Mannagudda, Mangaluru.
