New Delhi, Apr 3: OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has praised India’s rapid strides in creativity and artificial intelligence adoption, highlighting the nation's potential to emerge as a global leader in the AI revolution.
Speaking at a recent tech conference in New Delhi, Altman acknowledged India's thriving tech ecosystem and its innovative approach to integrating AI technologies across various sectors. “India is not only embracing AI but also setting benchmarks in creativity and implementation. The enthusiasm and ingenuity displayed by Indian developers, researchers, and startups are remarkable,” Altman stated.
He emphasized that India's large pool of skilled engineers, coupled with a growing startup culture, has created an environment ripe for innovation. “India’s ability to adapt and scale AI solutions swiftly gives it a significant advantage on the global stage,” he added.
Altman also noted that India's proactive stance on ethical AI usage and regulatory frameworks is setting a positive example for other nations to follow. “Balancing innovation with responsibility is crucial, and India is showing promising leadership in this area,” he mentioned.
As India continues to accelerate its AI adoption, Altman expressed optimism about future collaborations and technological advancements emerging from the country.
