Holy Redeemer English Medium School holds Annual PTA meeting; new website launched

Beltangady, Apr 3: The Annual General Body Meeting of Parents Teachers Association of Holy Redeemer English Medium School was held on April 1 in the school auditorium.

The programme began with a prayer song. Sumithra welcomed the gathering. Correspondent Fr Walter D'Mello, headmaster Fr Clifford Pinto, Br Aldrick D'Souza, regent brother of Ashadeepa, PTA vice president Ramesh and PTA secretory Tr Pallavi were present.

Vijayendra, additional civil and JMFC Judge of Beltangady Taluk court was honoured. He is also an uncle and guardian of a class 7 student. During his speech, he expressed his words of appreciation and gratitude towards the school.

Those who secured 100% marks in different subjects in the SSLC board exam 2023-24 were honoured.

They were Veona Rego, Vinisha D'Souza, Nija Kulal, Rishel Bennis, Shravya Shetty and Shivani Acharya.

Trainers of extracurricular school activities, Uday dance trainer, Ashok Acharya Karate trainer, Prashanth chess trainer, Br Aldrick D'Souza music teacher and Praveen craft trainer, were honoured on this occasion.

The headmaster gave an overview on the activities and events planned for the upcoming academic year 2025-26.

The school website www.holyredeemerschoolbelthangady.com designed by Oswald Goveas and Vinith Almeida, that digitally provides all information about the school, was proudly launched by the Correspondent.

Dr Ashwitha Merline Carl, assistant professor, department of psychiatry, Father Mullers Medical College and Hospital Mangalore, was the resource person. She spoke about how students are driven towards the social evils; it's effects and control remedies.

Parents were given a chance to interact and give suggestions and feedback.

Akhida Banu proposed the vote of thanks. Shanthi Pereira compered the programme. The PTA meeting concluded with refreshments served.
