Dubai, Jan 18: Welcome to day 2 of the first Test between Pakistan and England from Dubai. Pakistan are firmly in the driver's seat thanks to some excellent bowling from Saeed Ajmal. England's batsmen completely failed to read him and they paid the price. 192 on a belter of a track is criminal and Pakistan will be looking to pile on the runs. The openers have gotten off to a steady start and they will want to extend their advantage. Stay tuned for all the updates.
Ajmal: We are all working well as a unit. We bowled well in the first innings and we will want to bowl well in the second innings. I have not yet used the Teesra but I am bowling a good line and length. You will have to wait and see for yourself what the Teesra is. Misbah knows the length and line that I bowl and he is a good captain. He sets the right field for me.
Earlier, a fine first day for Pakistan. They have dominated the entire day by first bowling out England for 192 and then knocking off 42 to reduce England's advantage to just 150. Saeed Ajmal was the star with 7 wickets and he has put his team in a commanding position. The pitch will be at its best for batting on Day 2 and 3 and Pakistan will look to make the most of it. England have had a day to forget and will have to pull themselves back with the ball if they hope to stay competitive in this match.
