Karkala, Apr 9: In a remarkable academic achievement, the prestigious Christ King Pre-University College in Karkala has once again delivered outstanding results in the II PUC annual examinations. The college has secured a perfect 100% pass result in the commerce stream and an impressive 99.44% pass percentage in the Science stream, setting a benchmark for excellence.
In the commerce stream, all 95 students who appeared for the examinations successfully passed, marking the 17th consecutive year the college has achieved 100% results in this stream. Meanwhile, in the Science stream, 178 out of 179 students cleared the exams, reflecting the college’s consistent commitment to academic excellence.
Several students have brought pride to the institution by securing top ranks at both the state and district levels. In the commerce stream, Sudhiksha S Shetty emerged as the district topper with 595 marks and secured the 5th rank at the state level. Charan Raj followed with 592 marks, earning the 8th state rank, while Narayani Kini scored 590 marks to secure the 10th rank.
In the science stream, Anant NK achieved 593 marks, securing the 7th rank at the state level. Additionally, Samhith S Acharya, Shriya, and Rashmi each scored 589 marks, securing the 8th district rank and helping the institution claim the second overall position in the district.
The performance across both streams has been commendable. In the Commerce stream, 73 students scored above 85%, passing with distinction. Among them, 24 students scored more than 95%, while 28 students scored between 90% and 95%. The remaining 22 students passed with first class. Notably, no student scored in the second-class category.
The science stream also showcased strong academic performance. A total of 104 students scored above 85%, earning distinction. Among them, 17 students secured more than 95%, while 50 students scored between 90% and 95%. The remaining 74 students passed with first class, and none fell below that level.
Some of the notable high scorers in the Commerce stream include Rania Roshan (586), Tanushree L P (586), Daryl Vinol Moras (585), Pavan S Poojary (585), Shreyas B Acharya (584), Mohammad Basheer (583), Joshua Herald Fernandes (582), Shada Irshad (582), Ansifa Banu (580), Shravya (579), Preethi Shetty (577), Erwin D'Mello (577), Jessica Leora Menezes (576), Fatima Zuha (575), Suvidha (574), Manita Michael (574), Hani Venya (573), Natasha Pinto (573), Shravan (573), Wenson Joyvin Menezes (573), Faiza Ayesha (572), and Ansh Kumar (571). They scored more than 95 percentile.
In the science stream, top scorers above 95% include Alvinia D'Sa (583), Amulya (581), Liana Nathal Rodrigues (580), Hansia Almeida (579), Anagha V (578), Naveed Zahid Hussain (578), Snehal Pinto (577), Sanjana S Patkar (574), Shanvi Ballal (573), Srujan Shetty (573), Divya D'Souza (571), Wilsha D'Souza (570), Nihal Y Acharya (570).
