Mangaluru: St Agnes PU College students shine in II PU exams with state-level ranks

Mangaluru, Apr 9: St Agnes PU College is elated with the II PU Board examination results where many students have excelled in their academic pursuits.

Arengza Mendonca topped the science stream with a praiseworthy total of 588 marks and a centum in chemistry. She secured the 12th rank at the state level.

From the commerce stream, Leeshal Daileen Fernandes has secured an impressive 587 marks including a centum in basic mathematics and 13th rank at the state level. The topper from the arts stream, Niriksha Ria Noronha has got an outstanding total of 590 marks and perfect scores in economics & psychology. She has made the college proud by securing the 8th rank at the state level and 3rd rank at the district level.

The admirable accomplishments showcase not only individual diligence, but also the hard work of the teachers and the institution. The students have brought acclaim to the institution by securing an overall pass percentage of 95.97% with 156 students achieving distinctions and 389 securing first class. These high-flyers have set a high bar for future candidates to aspire to.

The management, principal Sr Norine D’Souza, vice principal Sr Janet Sequeira, and the faculty have extended heartfelt congratulations to all the students for their exceptional academic achievements, and for bringing honour and pride to the institution.
