Mangaluru: Palm Sunday celebrated at AIMIT

Media Release

Mangaluru, Apr 13: Palm Sunday was solemnly celebrated at the AIMIT Chapel on Saturday, April 13.

The ceremony commenced with the blessing of holy palms, followed by a reverent procession with the faithful holding palms, symbolizing the triumphant entry of Jesus into Jerusalem.

Fr Kiran, director of AIMIT, was the main celebrant of the Mass, assisted by Fr Avinash.

In his reflection, Fr Kiran invited the faithful to contemplate the contrasting moments that define Palm Sunday: the joyous royal welcome of Jesus into Jerusalem and the somber events of His trial, passion, crucifixion, death, and burial. He emphasized how glory and suffering are profoundly intertwined in the liturgy of the day, offering a powerful reminder of Christ’s unwavering love and sacrifice.
