Pittsburgh, Apr 14: Dr Divya Sistla, an accomplished endocrinologist originally from Telangana, has been conferred the prestigious title of Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP), marking a significant milestone in her medical career. The FACP designation is regarded as one of the most respected recognitions in the field of internal medicine.
Currently practicing at UPMC Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Dr. Sistla is recognized for her clinical excellence, academic contributions, and impactful research in endocrinology and obesity medicine. She is board-certified in internal medicine, endocrinology, and obesity medicine, and is known for treating a wide range of complex hormonal and metabolic conditions such as diabetes, thyroid disorders, PCOS, osteoporosis, and Cushing’s syndrome.

A graduate of the Kamineni Institute of Medical Sciences in Telangana, Dr. Sistla continues to stay rooted in her mission to elevate patient care standards globally. Beyond her clinical responsibilities, she also plays a pivotal academic role as a Clinical Assistant Professor at the University of Pittsburgh, where she mentors future physicians.
