Mangaluru: Rayan Magneto’s Konkani film Fondacho Misther set for Apr 25 release

Mangaluru, Apr 15: After the success of his debut film Lucky Draw, which completed 50 screenings across Mangaluru and struck a chord with Konkani audiences, Rayan Magneto is back with his second film, Fondacho Misther.

The comedy film with a social message is all set to release on April 25, 2025, in Mangaluru and Udupi. Screenings are scheduled at Bharath Cinemas in Mangaluru, Padubidri, and Deralakatte. The film will also be released in Kuwait and other Gulf countries in May.

Fondacho Misther features more than 40 artistes from the Mangaluru region. The cast includes Leston, Kellam, Alwyn Danthy, Lucy Aranha, Godwin Bejai, Joseph Angelore, Rishel Permannur, Joyline D’Souza Niddodi, Carmine Sequeira, and Wilma Lenisha Vorkady. Tulunada Manikya Aravind Bolar makes a special cameo appearance.

Rayan Magneto directs and also plays a role in the film, while the script and production are handled by Melwyn Pernal. Music is composed by Prajoth D’Sa of Udi Udi fame, and cinematography is by Allwyn Sequeira. The lyrical song Dektana Tuka has already become popular among fans.

The film is expected to deliver wholesome entertainment with a meaningful message, continuing Rayan’s promising journey in Konkani cinema.
