Washington DC, Apr 17: US President Donald Trump, during a heartfelt Easter prayer service and dinner at the White House on Wednesday, reflected on what he described as “possibly the best three months ever for a president,” showcasing his administration’s efforts to uplift the nation both at home and on the global stage.
"With God's grace, we've had great three months—maybe the best ever for a president and administration," Trump remarked. He asserted that America is regaining the respect it had lost, stating, “Our country was not respected five, six months ago. Now, there’s a whole new respect for our country.”

The event began with Trump acknowledging Patty Morin, an "Angel Mom" whose daughter, Rachel Morin, was killed by an undocumented immigrant in 2023. In an emotional moment, Trump told her, “You are indeed an Angel Mom. We’re with you, a hundred per cent.”
Looking ahead to the 2024 elections, Trump called November 5th “one of the most important days in the history of the United States,” pledging to restore American prosperity, secure borders, and rebuild the military.
He emphasized his support for religious liberty and condemned the global persecution of Christians. “We’re standing for Christians that have been persecuted all over the world,” he said, underlining the role of the newly formed White House Faith Office and a dedicated task force aimed at addressing anti-Christian bias.
Touching on education, Trump criticized the current system, alleging widespread “radical indoctrination” in schools. He argued that despite the US spending the most per student, its education rankings lag behind countries like Denmark, Norway, Sweden, and China. “We can’t blame it on size,” he added, endorsing state-level control over education policy.
Trump also reiterated his administration’s stance on gender identity, stating, “I signed an executive order making it official US policy that God created two genders—male and female.”
Wrapping up his speech, Trump declared, “There is so much to celebrate this Easter. With God’s help, we can overcome any challenge, triumph over evil, and restore faith in America. We have a simple slogan—Make America Great Again—and that’s exactly what we are doing.”
