Mangaluru, Apr 24: The muhurat for Kajja, the second film under the banner of Sumukha Productions, was held at Kudroli Gokarnanatha Temple in the city. Producer Vishanth Menezes sounded the clapboard for the film, while Vijaykumar Kodialbail and Aravind Bolar initiated the first shot.

Speaking on the occasion, Fr Melwyn Pinto SJ said the first film by Sumukha Productions received a positive response from the people of Tulunadu. "The audience appreciated Tudar, and I am confident that Kajja will also be well received. A dedicated team is working on this project, and the shoot has officially begun. The enthusiastic young team is ready to entertain even more this time," he said.

Actor Aravind Bolar remarked, "'Kajja' in Tulu means 'work'. We have come together for a good cause. Let the movie reach the audience soon, and just like the earlier film, we hope the public showers the same support and love, encouraging this new team."

Director Vijaykumar Kodialbail said the story of Kajja is strong, with a talented cast and opportunities given to newcomers. "Like Tudar, we hope Kajja too becomes a big success," he said.

Present on the occasion were Pradeep Kumar Kalkur, Sairam, Ravishankar Mijar, Ramananda Poojary Bolar, Uday Poojary Ballal Bagh, Shaheen Sheikh, Prem Shetty Suratkal, Harish Shetty, actor-director Siddarth Shetty, Umesh Mijar, Sadashiva Amin, Vensita Dias, Lanchulal, Mohan Koppala, Balakrishna Shetty, Roopa Varkadi, Mohan Raj, Arathi Shetty and others.

The cast includes Siddarth Shetty, Aravind Bolar, Umesh Mijar, Jayashree, Shwetha Kotian, Sahana Sudhakar, Vensita Dias, Mohan Raj, Gautham Banger, Suvarna Poojary, Savitha Anchan, Shaheen Sheikh, and Sannidhi Shetty.

The film is directed by Jisnu S Menon and Siddarth Shetty, produced by Vishanth Menezes. Cinematography is by Chandu Meppayur, editing by Sharath Hegde, choreography by Vijeeth R Nayak, stunts by Yoganand, and production managed by Karthik Rai Adyanadka.
